Crowdfunding Platforms That Raised the Most $$ – USA
Out of 30+ platforms tracked across the USA, the top-performing crowdfunding platforms together raised an impressive $720 MILLION USD in 2022!
For Regulation Crowdfunding (Reg CF), 3 platforms raised the lion’s share, representing over 89% of the total funds raised.
- Wefunder (39.1%, $148.2M)
- Start Engine (28.9%, $109.4M)
- Republic (19.2%, $72.6M)
For Regulation A (Reg A), Dalmore Group was the clear winner raising 58% of the total funds. The top performers for Reg A in 2022 were:
- Dalmore Group (58%, $191M)
- Start Engine (19.9%, $64.5M)
- Seed Invest (6.7%, $22.1M)
If your company is hoping to raise funds in 2023, these figures are truly inspiring!
It’s important to keep in mind though that companies just starting out may not qualify for these larger platforms as they typically need to see a couple of years’ worth of financials as one of their minimum requirements.
However, there are many other impactful crowdfunding platform options available too. Some are more suited for newer businesses who may have the most ingenious ideas but who were more recently founded. Other platforms are more suited for specific industries, like local businesses, craft products, and avant-garde niche market products like cannabis and/or hemp-based companies.
